Applications must be received in the Department of Human Resources or postmarked by the deadline noted on the exam announcement. It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm that they meet the minimum requirements as application fees will not be refunded. Applicants may apply online or via a paper application. Credit/debit card payments are accepted with online applications  (a logon button will appear next to the exams we are accepting applications for online)   and are subject to a $3.99 convenience fee. All checks and money orders must be made payable to COMMISSIONER OF FINANCE. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. 

Applications faxed or emailed to this office for examinations will not be accepted.
